About the Site

This website has been developed by Dyfed Powys Police. All advice has been collated using recognised national advice and guidance and includes links to the original material.

It aims to engage with young people in Dyfed Powys and provide a credible website to visit for advice, help and guidance on issues that may affect them as well as way to contact the Police that they feel comfortable using.

The ‘what we do’ information aims to give a flavour of the type of thing operational policing does daily.

The forum is moderated and all advice given comes from recognised national advice and guidance.

Why XRay99?

In case you are wondering why we have called the site xray99 – it is the call sign of our helicopter. Each police vehicle has a call sign or a name which is used over the police radios. We thought xray99 would be a good name for the site because it's unusual and (hopefully) easy to remember!
