Choosing a career can be really difficult.

There are loads of jobs in the police you could apply for – whether you want to be a police officer or PCSO, or special constable. You don't have to be a police officer to work for the police - there are many different roles for police staff.

There's even a chance for you to be able to road-test a career. If you are 16 you could become a police cadet. Dyfed Powys Police have just recruited the first group of cadets.

Dyfed-Powys Police are responsible for policing two-thirds of Wales - geographically we are the biggest force in England and Wales. Read more information about who Dyfed-Powys Police are.

Work Experience

Dyfed-Powys Police do not have a work experience programme, but do hold some one-day ‘masterclasses’ for students interested in the police, in conjunction with Careers Wales.
